How nonresidents hunt upland birds in Illinois
Nonresidents buy the nonresident hunting license (annual or 5-day) and the state habitat stamp over the counter. Much of the pheasant hunting on public land is IDNR's controlled pheasant program (reserved, with released birds). No ruffed grouse season.
