How nonresidents hunt upland birds in Colorado
Nonresidents buy the nonresident small game license (annual or 1-day plus extra days) and the habitat stamp over the counter. Ptarmigan, sage grouse and mountain sharp-tailed grouse need an extra $5 permit. Walk-In Access land is open for pheasant season into February.
